Chetana is a bachelor in commerce with additional qualifications in computer sciences. She went to EFLU then CIEFL for post graduation. She worked as content writer in a start-up in Navi Mumbai and in Managerial cadre in ICICI Prudential in Hyderabad.She worked a short while as a teacher in schools and also as an ITES professional both at Mumbai and Trivandrum. Her poems were published in Kumkumam and many other magazines during her child hood. She started composing poems at the age of six in Malayalam. Her writing skills were discovered by famous Malayalam writer Late Sri P.C. Kuttykrishnan Uroob. She wrote poems when at schools and colleges. She comes paternally from a family of eminent writers and artists like Sri Kavalam Narayana Panikkar, Dr Ayyappa Paniker and maternally Sri Vaizianazhikam Velappan Pillai. Her maternal grandmother is from Puthuvila, Chirayinkizh.Chetana is a lover of classical music and is a talented actor. She wishes to pursue a career in full time fiction writing. A set of 7 short stories childrens fiction written by her may be published in MarchApril 2019 by National Book Stall Kottayam. It is meant for all who value childhood.
